A former Bachelor star has shared some very exciting news on social media over the Christmas weekend.
The 28-year-old ex Bachelor contestant, Cassandra (Cass) Wood, competed for love in Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins’ season of the dating show in 2018.
But it seems her days as a bachelorette are over, as Ms Wood took to Instagram on Christmas Eve to announce her engagement to rugby player boyfriend, Tyson Davis.
“24.12.2022. Here’s to forever with you” she captioned the photos, which showed Mr Davis on one knee on a beach proposing to her.
Other former Bachie friends of Ms Wood flocked to the comments to wish her and her new fiance well.
“Aw congratulations angel!” season 6 runner up Brittany Hockley commented.
“Congratulations gorgeous girl,” said Alisha Aitken-Radburn.
Ms Wood and her fiance Mr Davis reportedly met in 2017, before Ms Wood also appeared in Bachelor In Paradise.
She began an on-air fling with the Bachelor from season 4, Richie Strahan, but after the short romance ended, was back with Mr Davis in 2019.
“All worth it since having this guy walk back in to my life at the most perfect time. And yes I say ‘back’ into my life, as we met back in 2017. I can gladly say I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,” she shared on a social media post after their reconciliation.
On Christmas Day, she shared photos of the ring Mr Davis had given her, as well as a video of the moment, captioning it “a Christmas we’ll never forget.”
